Painting is a way of expression. For centuries artist have expressed their period through various style, colours and media. Today, with an easy access to digital technology the perception towards viewing a painting has also changed. People like explore more from the visuals and the colours that they see. In my paintings, I have tried to express the current trend of digital era with bright colours, vibrant metallic effects, creative shapes and in Acrylic!

Computer graphics and digital technology has become a part of our day-to-day life. As an artist, I have been in the designing field for more than 30 years. I created visuals / graphics for various corporates like Swarovski, Government of Ontario, Koppert Canada, Investors group and many more. Even after creating attractive graphics, I was never satisfied with what I had created. The main reason was these were digitally created, and I didn’t get the satisfaction of creating a masterpiece.

In 1998, I conducted my first solo exhibition of Paintings called "Revolution" using digital graphics. Use of computers in art was just new. I presented 40 painting during that exhibition. Though it was my first and solo, I would still call it a success as more than 50 percent of the paintings were sold. But now I want to conduct an exhibition of use of digital technology in traditional paintings – painted by hand in acrylic.

Finally, few years back I decided to use my digital skill and paint them in Acrylic - by hand. So now after painting by hand I am very happy and the style and media that I am using is based on digital technology – painted by hand in acrylic on paper and canvas. A new media, a new way of expression!

While developing my paintings, there is lot of technology used, like for creating shapes and colours but you also have to consider while painting on canvas by hand, to get the same effect as that of seen on bright digital screen, I have use acrylic metallic colours. Once I complete all my paintings, 49 in total, I am planning to conduct an exhibition to present this world how new technology can be used in regular hand drawn painting! There is lot of hard work and time consuming and also lot of acrylic paints, gels, brushes etc. But if you want to create something new and different, you have to be ready for it. Trust me, till now I have not seen anything like what I am creating! My concept is new, but my media of painting is traditional – acrylic media.
